Our own brand of affordable sketchbooks are manufactured in Europe and are of the highest quality. They feature binderboard covers with true linen spines. The smyth sewn and gauze spliced bindings provide strength and durability and allows the books to be opened flat and even bent double without damage to the binding. The books have 144 pages of heavyweight acid-free paper is excellent for all dry media and is suitable for waterbased markers and light washes. The paper is PH buffered, lignin, and chlorine-free.
These books are 8.25" x 5.8" and are oriented horizontally for a panoramic sketchbook spread. They feature an original, 2-color, hand-screenprinted "double scroll" design. Available in three color styles (red spine and printing, black spine and printing, or grey spine with yellow & black printing). These sketchbooks give you archival quality paper with an incredible durable spine at a remarkably affordable price. Each book is from a very limited edition and only available from Rowan Morrison.
