Rowan Morrison is once again proud to offer an exclusive limited edition stencil print from Bay Area artist Adam5100. This print marks the first offering in Adam's new "American Soccer / Futbol" body of work. The series will culminate in an academic art publication that explores relationship of the working class, immigration, and American Soccer.
The Oakland Clippers were a professional soccer team based out of Oakland, California that played in the North American Professional Soccer League (NPSL). Their home field was Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.
In 1967, The Oakland Clippers won the league championship, giving Oakland its first national title in any sport. Dragan Djukic scored a hat trick as the Clippers won 4-1 in front of 9,037 people.
This is a signed & numbered edition of only 23 and will not be reprinted in any capacity.
Because of the spray-enamel and stencil process, each individual piece is slightly different.
