Shipping: Rowan Morrison ships throughout the nation via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. We find that this is fastest and most reliable method for the value. Our shipping charges are dependent on the total cost of your order (basically a flat rate box or envelope, delivery confirmation, and a little extra for the fees):

Returns: There are no returns. All sales are final. If you recieve damaged or the wrong products, contact us to obtain a return authorization number and we will gladly refund your money or send you the proper product. Rowan Morrison is not responsible for any damages incurred during shipping. Open your packages carefully, folks.

Sales Tax: If you live in California, you're getting charged 8.75% sales tax on all items and there is no way around it. Sorry.

Privacy: Rowan Morrison never sells, rents, or shares any of our customer's information, ever., If you would like to be added to our gallery and bookstore emailing list to find out about upcoming fine art exhibitions and news, please inform us in the "notes" section of your order or by email. You can remove yourself from this list at any time.

Is ordering secure? You know it! We use Paypal for our online payments. You can review their security features here. Of course, we are happy to accept personal checks and money orders by mail (we will ship when payment has cleared) or we can set aside your order and you can pay with Visa, Mastercard, check, or cash in the store.

Where did this item go? We update our online inventory with new items as soon as we get them, and we remove old inventory immediately when an item sells out. If you saw an item here previously and it is no longer listed, it is on reorder or possibly sold out forever. Many of the items we carry are limited so inventory can change quickly. Like we say, "get it now or regret it for the rest of your life". Feel free to email us with any questions about items you have seen.
In the rare instance that you purchase an item that is no longer in our inventory we will immediately refund your money.

Will you sell my book? Quite possibly. We are always on the look out for new and limited art books, zines, papergoods, and prints. If it is at all possible, please contact us, send us a sample copy, and follow up in a few weeks with an email. If you want your sample returned, please include a SASE or money for return postage. We can't carry every book we see, but it will help your chances if you publication is self-distributed, image-based (no poetry or novels), and you are willing to do consignment terms.
We also appreciate any recommendations or references to art books you enjoy that we don't currently carry.

Are there any wholesale discounts on Rowan Morrison product? Yes. Wholesale discount of 50% on self-published Rowan Morrison products consist of minimum quanitities of six per item and full payment before we ship. Please contact us before you place your wholesale order. Most Rowan Morrison products are also available wholesale from Last Gasp of San Francisco. We do not offer wholesale discounts on any other products other than ones we have published ourselves.

Is there any fine art for sale? Rowan Morrison curates bi-monthly solo exhibitions of fine artists in our gallery space in Oakland. While we often post images of the art the photo album section of this website, we don't host an "online art gallery". If you have seen an image of a work of art on this website (or in person) that you simple must have, please email us an we will put you in touch with the artist when possible.

Do you have any other products available? We sure do. Our gallery and bookstore has a much larger selection of items than what you'll find online. Many of our books sell so fast or are available in such limited quanitities that we don't list them online. Some consignment items are only available in the store as well. We also have a small selection of used art books and graphic novels available in the store at extremely low prices that aren't available online. Where can I learn more about art books? I'm glad you asked. Rowan Morrison publishes an Art Books Blog where we discuss many of the books we carry, as well as lots of items from our personal library. The blog has lots of images, in depth reviews, historical backgrounds on artists, interviews, self-publishing information, and reader comments. The blog sometimes will feature exclusive book discounts not available in the store or on in our online shop. Check it out.
